The Jamie McHenry Memorial Foundation is dedicated to honoring and celebrating Jamie's life by raising funds to provide support to the high school and youth sports programs in our community. Jamie was a passionate and loyal sports player and teammate. Our beloved Jamie was hit and killed by a car over Spring Break 2013 while vacationing with a friend's family. It has been and continues to be a devastating loss to our family. We formed The Jamie McHenry Memorial Foundation, a non-profit, to raise funds to give back to our local sports community, of which Jamie was such a big part. The funds are used to allow young athletes to play, enjoy and excel in the sports that gave Jamie so much joy. It is our way of continuing to take care of our boy.
